  • The Events and Marketing Committee of the Pinellas Park Gateway Chamber of Commerce is all about bringing our community together, celebrating local businesses, and showing everyone why Pinellas Park is a fantastic place to live, work, and grow. Here’s how we make a difference:

    1. Creating Memorable Events: We bring our members and the community together through meaningful events—networking breakfasts, mixers, ribbon cuttings, and signature celebrations. These events don’t just help our businesses connect; they strengthen the bonds that make Pinellas Park a truly close-knit community.

    2. Showcasing Our Members: We believe our members deserve the spotlight. Whether it’s through social media shout-outs, business showcases, or “shop local” campaigns, we work hard to elevate the profiles of our members and let everyone know about their fantastic contributions to the community.

    3. Bringing the Community Together: Through festivals, charity fundraisers, and family-friendly events, we create moments for everyone to come together and celebrate what makes our town special. These events attract visitors and highlight Pinellas Park as a warm, inviting community.

    4. Growing Our Chamber Family: We’re passionate about spreading the word about the Chamber’s benefits. By organizing open houses, info sessions, and networking opportunities, we help local businesses understand why joining the Chamber is one of the best moves they can make for their growth and connections.

    5. Keeping Our Community Connected Online: Our committee manages the Chamber’s social media and online presence to keep the community informed, engaged, and excited. Whether it’s promoting an upcoming event or sharing member successes, we’re here to keep Pinellas Park’s spirit vibrant online.

    6. Partnering with Local Media to Spread the Word: We work with local news outlets to showcase Chamber activities and member accomplishments, making sure that everyone sees the positive impact our Chamber is having on the community.

    7. Boosting Tourism and Community Pride: We team up with the Economic Development Committee to put Pinellas Park on the map as a go-to destination. Through visitor guides, cultural events, and tourism campaigns, we aim to attract people to our vibrant town and give them a reason to come back.

    8. Keeping Members in the Loop: We want our members to feel connected and informed, so we provide updates, event reminders, and insider news through newsletters, emails, and a dedicated members’ resource page. Clear communication keeps us all working together seamlessly.

    9. Learning and Growing from Member Feedback: After each event, we connect with attendees to understand what went well and what we can improve. Your feedback helps us make each experience even better and more valuable for everyone involved.

    10. Creating Sponsorship Opportunities that Benefit All: We collaborate with local businesses to sponsor events, ensuring that sponsors gain meaningful exposure while we secure the support needed to keep hosting top-notch events.

The Events and Marketing Committee is here to make the Chamber experience engaging, supportive, and impactful for our members and the community. Together, we’re not only helping businesses grow but also building a stronger, more connected Pinellas Park that we can all be proud of.
